WHAT IS THE SOCA RUN FESTIVAL?

The Soca Run Festival (SRF) has been created to celebrate Caribbean carnival culture, the African American community, and the benefits of health and fitness in a very colorful, positive, and high energy festival run. The goal? To reshape and educate the way those in the community not only view Caribbean culture and the life-transforming benefits of health and fitness, but to also give back to local communities, vital organizations, as well as today’s underprivileged youth.

A 5K COURSE UNLIKE ANYTHING IN THE WORLD

SRF is the only running festival in the world that combines positive energy, the joy of music, and the true essence of carnival throughout a fully immersive 5k running course. Our participants (aka Soca Runners) will experience live soca music as they pass through 3 very colorful Fete Zones: the powder zone, the flag zone, and the paint zone. As runners cross the finish line (aka The Stage) in true carnival fashion, they’ll enjoy performances by the best soca artists and DJs in the world.

WHAT MAKES SOCA RUN FESTIVAL SO UNIQUE?

SRF not only donates a portion of all proceeds to various non-profit organizations and selected beneficiaries, but it also celebrates the joy and heritage of African American and Caribbean culture, promotes the success of black businesses, spreads the joy of soca music to a wider audience, and unites everyone together in a very healthy, inviting, and highly engaging way.
